Halloween is a fun time of year there is no doubt about it, but it can also be a dangerous time of year.
We here at Northway Toyota want to remind you to be careful when driving on Halloween and to watch for kids. They are hard to see anyway, but especially at night. They may also dart in front of your car at a moment's notice as they can have a hard time gauging how fast cars are going.
If you're the designated driver for trick-or-treaters, be sure to drop them off at the curb and to go over the rules of the road with them so that they will be careful and watch for cars. Don't pass other vehicles that have slowed down or stopped in the street because they could be waiting for kids to cross that are not visible to you. Be cautious and avoid an accident.
